R. Ravimohan and P.M.S. Prasad are now part of the Board of Directors of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). Mr. Ravimohan and Mr. Prasad joined the board as executive directors and are expected to take Reliance forward on an accelerated growth path.
Mr. Ravimohan is a veteran of the credit rating industry. Prior to joining Reliance, he was managing director and region head of Standard & Poor’s for South & South East Asia.
Also as a former chairman of CRISIL, Mr. Ravimohan is credited with building the company into the largest rating, financial service company in India.
Mr. Prasad has been an integral part of the growth story of Reliance Group and its achievements, and is a veteran of the oil and gas industry. He has been with the Reliance Industries for over 28 years.
With these appointments, the RIL board has expanded to fourteen members with seven members on the board being independent directors.
